INGREDIENTS

  • Fresh parsley or cilantro (optional, for garnish)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Marinate the Wings:
  • Place the chicken wings in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.
  • Pour the Dad’s Own Products Colorado Cooking Sauce over the wings, ensuring they are well-coated.
  • Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for 2-4 hours.

2. Prepare the Traeger Grill (or any smoker):

  • Preheat your Traeger grill to 225°F (107°C).
  • Remove the chicken wings from the marinade and pat them dry with paper towels. Discard the marinade.
  • Season the wings with salt and pepper on both sides or use a cajun seasoning like Tony Chachere's for more heat!

3. Smoke the Wings:

  • Place the wings on the grill grates.
  • Smoke for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

4. Crisp the Skin:

  • Increase the grill temperature to 400°F (204°C).
  • Continue to cook the wings for an additional 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the skin is crispy and golden brown.

5. Rest and Serve:

  • Remove the wings from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro if desired.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
