SESAME SCALLION GLAZED CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS
- 1lbs. chicken thighs (or legs)
- ½ C of Dad’s Own
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 Tbsp sweet chili sauce
- Pinch of red pepper flakes
- 2 Tbsp chopped scallions
- 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
- With skin removed, marinate the chicken with ¼ C of Dad’s Own
- Heat a large skillet over medium/high heat and add olive oil. Cook chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until or until the internal temperature reads 165 degrees. Remove chicken from skillet
- Whisk together the remaining Dad’s Own Cooking Sauce ™, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sweet chili sauce, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Add sauce to the hot skillet and bring to a boil
- Reduce to low heat, add chicken and cover the skillet. When sauce begins to thicken, flip the chicken to fully coat and cook for another 2 minutes
- Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and scallions
Serving: Best served immediately with rice and sauteed vegetables marinated in Dad’s Own (suggestion: asparagus or snap peas).
